PingProperties, together with Aan de Stegge Twello, will start in March 2022 with the construction of approx. 21,000 m² of logistics business space and office space at Dutch Tech Campus in Zoetermeer. ABN AMRO is financing the development on Werner von Siemensstraat 49 in Zoetermeer. This new commercial development is expected to be delivered to tenants Lamboo Medical (approx. 15,500 m²) and Siemens (approx. 5,500 m²) during the fourth quarter of 2022.
PingProperties purchased Dutch Tech Campus on Werner von Siemensstraat in Zoetermeer in 2015. The former Siemens site covering 13 hectares has now been developed as a lively campus with its own identity and consistent tenant occupancy. Dutch Tech Campus comprises, including the planned expansion, approx. 70,000 m² spread across 11 buildings. It is the home of renowned technology firms such as Siemens, Yunex Traffic, Topcon Europe Positioning, Reconext, Lamboo Medical, Atos Medical and WS Audiology.
Development of Dutch Tech Campus
The new development can be regarded as one of the best commercial buildings along the A12 motorway, also due to its location close to the railway station and right next to the motorway itself. This is reinforced by the excellent technical specifications and high sustainability ambitions. The arrival of Lamboo Medical and new divisions of Siemens also reinforce PingProperties’ ambition to develop a sustainable, future-proof campus for businesses focused on smart mobility, ICT and healthcare. Earlier this year the new commercial building for Topcon Europe Positioning was handed over, as well as the new offices for Siemens Mobility and Yunex Traffic.
